A long sleeve t-shirt with a hood that will keep you out of the sun. Helios has UPF 50+ protection and is treated with polygial odor control*. You can swim in it, and the nice soft feel on your skin is retained even when wet. The cut is loose and doesn't have that uncomfortable tight feeling that many people find characteristic of lycra. Apart from summer, the t-shirt is also worn in other seasons under an outer garment. The thumbholes allow for more efficient swimming with the T-shirt, protect the wrists and hands from the sun, and prevent calluses from forming in kayakers who squeeze the paddle.
